Summary: "The pointy end of the textbook racket."

It would've been nice if this had cost an order of magnitude less. Unfortunately, I, as a student, have no choice in what books I buy, and that's probably why textbooks have such abusive prices. My only choice is who it is that gets to gouge well north of $100 for something that costs around $10 to print; in any case, when class starts, I must have the book--and looky here, it's a new edition. It was this (~$160) or the campus bookstore (~$250). Either one was going to put a nasty dent in my wallet. I suppose it could've been worse.

The book itself was in good condition. But there was a lot of writing and highlighting in the book. Entire sections have been crossed out and scribbled across. On the bright side, some of the notations have been pretty helpful in class!!
